Experience: 3-5 yrs

Key Responsibilities:

• Database Management:
• Knowledge of industry-standard PostgreSQL databases, including the creation and implementation of fully functional PostgreSQL database clusters.
• Maintain multiple development, QA, and production PostgreSQL environments with experience in performance tuning.
• Review existing configurations and installations and provide design decisions for improvements to platform environments.
• Assist in planning and performing PostgreSQL database upgrades and migrations.
• Experience working with high availability, scalable environments.
• Exposure to handling PostgreSQL on Docker and Kubernetes.
• Mandatory experience handling Oracle databases.
• High Availability and Disaster Recovery:
• Implement and manage Master-Slave replication setups for high availability (HA).
• Design and execute disaster recovery (DR) plans to ensure business continuity.
• Experience with PostgreSQL Foreign Data Wrappers for federated database systems.
• Security and Compliance:
• Conduct periodic security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Implement and enforce security policies, access controls, and encryption mechanisms to maintain data integrity and comply with industry standards.
